Launch of SV Puja book in Sanskrit
In February 2023, a Sahasra Chandi event was conducted at Devipuram, Bharat, featuring various chantings and homams. A highlight of this gathering was the release of the Sri Vidya Navavarana Puja book, authored and published by Guruji Shri Ramesh Natarajan, founder of GRD Iyers GuruCool alongside Guruma Smt. Sridevi Gayathri. The event unfolded in the presence of the Parama Guru and Parameshti Guruma, the Guru parampara, and shishyas from the Sri Amrutha Chaithanya Mandali and Sri Vidya group of GRD Iyers GuruCool. This was the second book published by Guruji after the highly successful first book on Durga Saptashati earlier.
The book release ceremony marked a pivotal moment, with the scripture distributed to all shishyas of the GuruCool as a blessing from Guruji and Guruma. This divine text provides a comprehensive guide to Navavarana or Sri Chakra puja, aligned with Paramananda Tantra and the Kadi vidya parampara, making it an invaluable resource for Sri Vidya upasakas. Key rituals detailed include the 64-step puja to Devi Lalitha Maha Tripura Sundari, Brahma Vidya stotram, Guru Mandalarchanam, Sarva Siddhikritha stotram, Kshama prarthana stotram, Bhavanopanishad, Durga Sapthasloki, and Panchopacharam, among others, structured for accessibility even for beginners.
The book's uniqueness lies in its multilingual publication in Sanskrit, English, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam, enhancing learning convenience worldwide. Additionally, the cover page and illustrations, depicting Devi’s abode, were personally created by Guruji Shri Ramesh Natarajan.
Participants experienced a profound and reverent atmosphere during the book release, surrounded by the spiritual energy of the Sahasra Chandi event at Devipuram. The presence of the Guru lineage and dedicated shishyas fostered a sense of unity and devotion, transforming the occasion into a memorable communal blessing. The detailed, easy-to-follow format of the book allowed attendees to envision performing the intricate puja rituals with clarity and ease.
Shishyas regarded the book as a treasured guide, appreciating its original approach to Nyasam and the nine avaranas, which simplifies complex practices for all levels of practitioners. Many highlighted the scripture's role in preserving and spreading Sri Vidya traditions globally through its thoughtful content and multilingual accessibility.
